We know that communication with teachers and a better understanding of the activities that happen each day in our center are important to you. We are proud to announce a new tool, Creative Curriculum, that we've incorporated as part of the center's services to help us share important information with you, regardless of your busy schedule.

CreativeCurriculum.net: A resource for families and teachers.

CreativeCurriculum.net provides new ways to learn and communicate. NEMCSA Head Start brings our child development principles together with this new Internet program, which:

Helps teachers plan activities based on the developmental needs of each child.

Gives teachers and families' practical resources on early childhood development for each child.

Creates an online Portfolio for each child that is accessible in a private, secure online location, enabling families to view reports on their child's progress, add to an interactive journal, access customized activities for their child, and more!

We need your email address to get started!

We need your email address to give you access to creativecurriculum.net. This information will be used only to enable us to authorize your participation and will not be shared with other parents or outside parties without your express permission. We include CreativeCurriculum.net as part of our services at no charge to you, and we encourage you to add this tool to the other ways in which you will communicate with us about your child's ongoing development.

In an effort to assemble an email directory, we ask that you include your email address on the Parent/Significant Adult Survey you will receive. If you do not currently have Internet access, there is the option of signing up for a free email account through, for example, Hotmail or a number of providers. You will then be able to access your child's online portfolio from the computers at the local library, the University, or a friend or relative's home. We're here to help you in any way to get you up and running!

As always, working together will enable us to provide you and your family with the high quality of care that you expect from us. If you have questions, please contact Kristen Mazzuchelli, Area Manager, at 592-9912 or MazzuchelliK@nemcsa.org
